What is a gesture of indecision?
Not an undecided gesture.
But a gesture that moves in the realm of indecision.
A little cough. A side glance. Clicking the tongue.
An index finger that tips on the nose. A deep breath.
Often a decisive gesture, indeed.
A gesture of current freedom. A gesture of current possibility.
A gesture of a mode of being that is usually punished, or at least looked at with skepticism.
A gesture that leads to queues in front of snack machines.
Indecision is usually opposed with resoluteness.
Hesitation is regarded natural enemy of productivity, action and spontaneity.
A natural enemy of our economic and social system.
How can I learn this gesture of the enemy?
How can I practice this gesture of the enemy?
Can I try to open spaces of indecision in situation of spacial restriction of possibilities?
For example in gendered toilets?
Concentrated indecision.
At least for a short time.
